The workshop “The maintenance of professionalism and competency of Social Workers: USA experience” will be held on the 8th November 2013

The Social Workers Association has organized a very particular event for Social Workers in Latvia which affords an opportunity to participate in the workshop with experienced Social Workers from the USA.
They will present topics which are actual issues in the Social Work practice in Latvia. These topics are:
- Social Work with dysfunctional families and
- Maintenance of professional competency within a high risk of professional burn-out circumstances.
The workshop is planned to be a unique possibility to get an insight about how the above mentioned issues are solved by Social Workers in the USA. At the same time it is a great experience to create new cognitions for personal professional practice.
