The Latvian Association of Social Workers will henceforth publish a magazine “Social Work in Latvia”
In January 2022 The Latvian Association of Social Workers has acquired the right to develop the content and publish the next three periodicals “Social Work in Latvia”. Future issues of the periodical are expected to reach online readers and municipal social services in print in June and November 2022, as well as in April 2023. The publication of the professional magazine is financed within the framework of the European Social Fund (ESF) project “Development of Professional Social Work in Municipalities”.
The aim of the periodical is to provide up-to-date, theoretical and evidence-based information on developments in the social work profession, to prepare articles on examples of social work practice in Latvia and abroad on topical issues for social work practitioners. The publication also aims to introduce readers to social work practitioners who have shown excellence in their work, as well as their views on issues relevant to the social work profession.
The Latvian Association of Social Workers invites all social workers who are interested in sharing their practical experience or theoretical knowledge to submit an article to the editorial board by writing to e-mail: lsdbizdevums@gmail.com
